On the day the 2019 Royal Ascot five day meeting drew to a close, fromthe selection Blue Point landed the Diamond Jubilee Stakes G1 over 6 furlongs, with trainer Charlie Appleby winning the £340,000 first prize, ridden by James Doyle. Tip, Space Blues went down a head in a 18 runners’ field photo finish at Royal Ascot. In the Wokingham Stakes, 26 runners’ field, each way tips Danzeno (7-1) ridden by Frankie Dettori, ran third, with Sky Bet paying out seven places on each way selection Perfection (28-1), finishing seventh. At LINGFIELD landed a 162-1 four horse winning accumalator, with Specialise (3-1) trained by Roger Varian, Kingfast (3-1) trained by David Dennis, Berrahri (7-2) trained by J. R. Best, ridden by Kieran Fox, and Eve Johnston trained Miss Matterhorn (5-4) ridden by Georgia Dobie, returning to the winner’s enclosure. Tip, Real Smooth, ran second. At NEWMARKET, selection, Charlie Appleby trained Saqqara King (4-6) was a winning tip, with Wings Of Time (ew) second at 4-1, Reynolds, second (15-8), Ballyquin (4-1) second, Dirty Rascal (ew) 4-1 second, beaten a neck, and Majestic Mac (ew) 9-1, finishing third. At AYR, Game Player (ew) ran third (4-1), Irreverrant (ew) won at 11-2, backed down from 13-2; Jabbarockie 9-2, second, and Glass Slippers (ew) ran second at 10-1, beaten a neck, in a 16 runners’ field.
