Forty loggerhead newly-born turtles are in safekeeping at the IMIDA centre in San Pedro del Pinatar.
The turtles which hatched at La Manga del Mar Menor will be returned to the Mediterranean sea within the next year.
The site has been monitored and a webcam captured the births live, which is available to view on YouTube Nido de Tortugas Murcia.
