Today Montgo G S played a 2 Person Texas Scramble sponsored by Sue Burman & Dennis Hammond.
We had a cold start, but the Costa Blanca sun soon came out and most of the competition was played in glorious weather.
The winners were Jan Jones & Geoff Willcock with 40 points, 2nd Robin Thatcher & Dennis Coe 39 points and 3rd Tom Atkinson & Nigel Siddall with 37 points. We had 2 holes for nearest the pins, and these were the 16th & 2nd shot on the 18th, both had prizes for the Ladies & Men. The winners on the 16th Gerian Van Ooijen 2.2m for the Ladies & Peter Gardiner for 7.47m for the men. On the 18th it was again Gerian for the Ladies and our Vice Captain Gordon Gleeson for the men with a fabulous 0.76m.
