Following the tragic event that took place in January 13 in Malaga, that claimed the life of the 2-year-old Julen, the mayor, Ignacia Ramos, has raised concerns about the existence of open wells in Pilar de la Horadada.
As such he has published instructions on safety measures to be introduced by the owners of wells, soundings, reservoirs, ponds and reservoirs in the area. The purpose is to avoid any danger to people due to the existence of these wells or similar shafts.
The mayor has said that those responsible for all wells, shafts or works similar to reservoirs, ponds and boreholes must take appropriate safety measures as soon as possible, to seal, cover, signpost and fence them.
