At midnight on Sunday, after 100 days in confinement, the sixth and final extension to the state of alarm in Spain was brought to an end as we entered ‘the new normal’.

No better indication of that was the flood of Ryanair flights that very quickly brought a multitude of British and Irish tourists into the region on Sunday with flights arriving from Manchester, Leeds – Bradford, East Midlands, Birmingham, Dublin and Stansted airports.

Reports on two vicious murders the most recent being the beheading of a 67 year old man in Albatera by his son on Saturday evening.
