For this month’s meeting the Spanglish Golf Society and a group of 29 players visited the established course at Las Colinas taking advantage of the excellent society deal obtained from Costa Blanca Green Fee Services.
Today was our annual Christmas Competition which was a better ball pairs stableford.
Unfortunately the weather was very poor and cold with heavy rain and buggies restricted to paths only but there were still some good scores despite this and most players enjoyed the day.
The winning scores were as follows:
1st – Chris Knight and Mick Tooth – 40 points, 2nd – Joe Valente and Tom McGinn – 40 points, 3rd – Jim Speakman and Barry Dexter – 39 points, 4th – Rudy Wattley and Gordon Neve – 39 points, 5th – Andy Brown and Paul Cartwright – 38 points, 6th – Mike Probert and Brian Elkington – 37 points

The secret Santa style presentation as held at Edina’s Grill and Bar for their support and that of our sponsor Sapphire Properties.
Our annual Christmas Dinner and prize presentation will be held at Carmens’s bar on Friday 6th December 2020 followed by the pre-Christmas interim day at Vistabella on the 18th December 2019.
