Specsavers opticians are a company which originated in Great Britain and are well-known to the ex-pat community.

Specsavers have been great supporters of the Elche Children’s Care Home charity for quite some time now.

They give eye tests in their Guardamar and Torrevieja shops to the children living in the care home and if needed provided them with prescription glasses.

There are many children passing through the home throughout the year who arrive with varying needs, therefore to have their eyes tested and glasses provided for them is invaluable.

Speaking recently to Francisco, the manager of Specsavers, it was abundantly clear that he is committed to helping in any way that he can, and having secured the support of Specsavers, who are delighted to collaborate with the charity, it is heart warming to know that this charity, founded by the ex-pat community, is working side by side with local businesses to enrich the lives of the children living in the home.

Pictured below are Francisco, and Specsavers staff Marc and Hector being presented with an ECCH banner by charity accountant Dave Diggle.

The Elche Children’s Home would like to thank Specsavers for their continued support.
