Paul Nicholls has a plethora of fancies at Aintree on Friday on Ladies Day – with Topofthegame set to land the Betway Mildmay Novices chase over 3 miles.

Topofthegame (2.50) ridden by Harry Cobden is one of Nicholls’ stable leading candidates on day two of the Aintree Grand National three day meeting.

Brio Conte (1.45) is tipped to get the Nicholls-Cobden combination off to a winning start on the card’s opening race, the Merseyrail Handicap hurdle over 2m 4f. Brecon Hill (ew) is also selected.

In the Betway Top Novices hurdle over 2 miles Itchy Feet (2.20) trained by Olly Murphy and ridden by G. Sheehan is tipped.

Nicholls and Cobden link up in the JLT Chase over 2m 3f with Politologue (3.25). Willie Mullins trained Min (ew) ridden by Ruby Walsh is selected for a place.

Nicky Henderson trained Janika (4.05) ridden by Daryl Jacob is tipped to win the Randox Health Topham handicap over 2m 5f, with Ballyhill (ew) and Peregrine Run (ew) selected for a place in the 30 runners field.

Henderson saddles Champ (4.40) with Barry Geraghty getting the ride in the Doom Bar Sefton Novices hurdle over 3 miles. Walkaway (ew) is selected for a place.

In the afternoon’s final race of the day McFabulous (5.15) trained by  Nicholls, with Cobden up, is tipped to land the Weatherbys Racing Bank Standard Open NH Flat race over 2m. Montego Grey (ew) is selected for a place.
