LEADER 7,836-1 NINE HORSE WINNING ACCUMULATOR!
Leader racing correspondent Andrew Atkinson’s Saturday headline tip Auxerre obliged when landing The Lincoln at Doncaster under James Doyle at 5-2 – one of nine winning tips returning a 7,836-1 accumulator!
“I’d full confidence in the horse. I knew he’d get the trip – standing on his head!,” said Doyle, after Auxerre, trained by Charlie Appleby gained a 2 1/4 length win ahead of Leader each-way selection Kynren (9-2).
“He’s going to improve a hell of a lot. I was quite proud of Auxerre and we’ll see what trainer Charlie Appleby wants to do with him,” said Doyle.
Doyle opted to miss the Dubai World Cup to ride Auxerre – as reported in the Leader racing column.
Doyle was second on Leader tip Exec Chef (6-1) in the Unibet Spring Mile, beaten by Petrus in the 16 runners field.
Leader tips Invincible Army (4-1) and Sharja Bridge (8-13) trained by Roger Varien and ridden by Andrea Atzeni, both won at Doncaster, with each way tip Consultant placed.
At KEMPTON selection Living Legend (5-1) retirned to the winners enclosure – when beating odds-on 8-11 favourite Sucellus.
Desert Doctor – tipped – finished a noted fast finishing third and is one to keep an eye on this season.
At UTTOXETER selections Supremely Lucky (2-9) Renwick (3-1) and Little Millie (7-2) were winning selections.
At STRATFORD Jarlath (5-1) was The Leader’s eighth winner of the day when winning by 7 lengths under jockey Kevin Jones.
At SOUTHWELL’S evening meeting Leader tip Space Bandit won at 5-2 – to take winning selections to nine – returning accumulative odds of 7,836-1!!!
