CD Murada went top of the Valencia 1st Regional Group 8 following a 2-0 away win at Callosa Deportivo B on Saturday.

AC Torrellano gained a 4-2 victory at home against Betis Florida to go into second place, with Racing San Miguel dropping to third spot after losing 1-0 at Monovar CD.

Once runaway leaders San Miguel have suffered a blip in form since the turn of the new year, having been odds on favourite to win the title.

CD Murada lead the table with 51 points with AC Torrellano on 49 points, ahead of San Miguel (49 points) on goal difference.

Atletico Catral moved into mid table with an emphatic 8-0 away win at rock bottom club Monforte CF.

CD Altet beat CF Rafal 1-0 to continue with their much improved form in the second half of the season, having been bottom, to go 13th in the table.

A minutes silence before the game against CD Montesinos and Hondon Nieves was held on Sunday following the passing of Montesinos supporter Chris Jenkins, who died on February 25.
