GASP Theatre staged their latest production at the Santara Life Resort on 26/27 November.

The first half of the evening consisted of three Victorian melodramas, “The Drunkard’s Dilemma”, “The Wage of Sin” and “Maria Marten”, all happily over-acted and packed with corny jokes and bad puns.

The audience were invited to join in the fun by booing the villains, cheering the heroes and warning the heroines. They didn’t let us down!

The second half was a light-hearted satirical poke at Brexit, including a chance to eavesdrop on the Minister for Administrative Affairs briefing her PPS, and the evening was rounded off by our own “Have I Got News for You” and the weather forecast.

A fun evening was had by all.  Many thanks to our loyal supporters who braved a thunderstorm on Sunday night.

As usual, we will shortly be making a donation from ticket receipts to Cruz Roja, Santa Pola.
