Winter League No Game.
Southern League - The Jaguars hosted the match against Monte Mar Matadors. A strong performance won them 12 points to the Matadors 2. The shot difference was 113 to 77 for the visitors. The highest scoring rink was Pat McEwan, John Marshall and Dave Matthews with 22 shots. The friendly team won 21 shots to 16. Great result, keep up the good work.
The Cougars played an afternoon match against and Emerald Isle team at Emerald Isle, and won all 14 points. Sorry I have no more details at time of writing. Well done to everyone who played, nice job.

The Comets went to Greenlands to play the Orange team. The Comets brought home 2 points to the Orange’s 12. The triple who got the two pints were Alan Booth, Jim Hattersley and Mike Stacey. Well done to everyone.
The Meteors were due to play at Greenlands on Tuesday but the weather put paid to that and the game will be played at a later date.
The Asteroids well done to the two winning rinks and also the rink that drew. A shortfall of 15 shots meant we lost the points for the total. 5points away from home is a fair result and one rink only lost by 1shot so the points could easily have been shared equally. The next game is the re-arranged match against Monte Mar Saturday morning .Good Luck. John Staden.
The Pulsars played at home against Monte Mar Picadors. A good day at the office, winning 12 points to the Picadors 2. The shot were 129 for the Pulsars to 71 for the Picadors. Highest scoring rinks with 26 points each were Eric Warren, Betty Hemmings and Anita Brown, and Brian Errington, Dave McEwan and Ros Stockell. Well done to everyone who took part.
