The Southern League Results, starting with a re-arranged game on Thursday 4th March. The Ramblers were away at San Miguel playing the Jaguars, this match ended with a tie of seven points apiece. We picked up two wins, a drawn game and won on the overall shots, a good result, well done. The winners were Pat Patton, Brian Patton & Roy Trow 31-7 and Ann Horswell, Maurice Horswell & Noel Verity 15-12. The team that drew were Geoff Paylor, Peter Hinds & Terry Padgett 18-18.

Overall shots, Ramblers 105(7) - 94(7) Jaguars.
Friday 5th March the Ramblers were away from home again, this time at the Emerald Isle where we had a superb victory over the jets, wins on five rinks for a rewarding twelve points. Congratulations to Ann Horswell, Maurice Horswell & Noel Verity for scoring an "Hot Shot" on their last end giving them a win of 24-10. Shirley Verity, Dave Chaplin & Ken Cuthbert won 23-5. Jenny Chaplin, George Thomson & Dave Rogers won 19-7. Lynne Bishop, Bruce Aitken & Eric Bishop won 18-11 and Charlie Watkins, Peter Hinds & Roy Trow won 19-16. Overall Shots, Ramblers 111(12) - 76(2) Jets.
Friday March 12th the Ramblers were back at San Miguel again, playing the Cougars and we did magnificently well, wins on all but one rink. Pat Patton, Brian Patton & Roy Trow had a great win of 29-13. Ann Horswell, Maurice Horswell & Noel Verity won 21-13. Shirley Verity, Dave Chaplin & Ken Cuthbert won 20-14. Geoff Paylor, Peter Hinds & Terry Padgett won 15-13 and Jenny Chaplin, George Thomson & Dave Rogers won 18-10. Lynne Bishop, Bruce Aitken & Eric Bishop lost by just three shots despite picking up seven shots on one end, must try harder!! Overall shots, Ramblers 123(12) - 86(2) Cougars.
On Wednesday 10th the Federated Fours squad came face to face with yet another of the San Miguel teams. We eyed em up and thought,"this could be a toughie", unfortunately for them, we were too good and went on to win seven of the eight points. Ann Horswell, Lynne Bishop, Bruce Aitken & Ken Cuthbert won 28-17. Shirley Verity, Geoff Paylor, Dave Chaplin & Eric Bishop won 23-17 and Jenny Chaplin, George  Thomson, Brian Patton & Roy Trow did just enough on the last end to bring their game to a draw of 20-20. Overall Shots Country B's 71(7) - 54(1) San Miguel.....Another excellent result which helps to keep us at the top of the league table.
The Monday SABA team, the Supernovas played at home in the rain against the San Miguel Comets. What a good result we had from this game, wins on four rinks, well done! Firstly, what a good win from the team of Ron Odell, Gillian Morris & Bryan Kirk who dominated the game and won 31-14.

Margaret Odell, Chris Darnell & Geoff Paylor (skipping for the first time) won 21-9. Sandra Simpson, Ray Emmett & Peter Hinds won 19-13 and Carol Donnellan, Paul Plant & Dave Rogers won 18-13. Overall shots, Supernovas 114(10) - 90(4) Comets.  A well deserved win.
