STEVIE B IS BACK WITH NORTHERN SOUL

My name is Stefan Boczkowski, otherwise known as Stevie 'B'.
I did a spell with Exite Radio before for about two years and was there when Exite Radio originally joined up with the Leader in the offices at La Zenia. So I'll be back to playing what I'm best known for, the music I have loved and followed for 42 years now, that's 'Northern Soul' .
I am still DJing locally, playing vinyl only, also doing Motown and 60s nights to cater for everyone. So I'll be back in the hot seat, so to speak, still doing as before, playing the very best in Northern Soul, Motown, some 60’s, only on Exite Radio with a regular weekly slot every Sunday 3rd from 2-4pm.
As most people who have known me over the 8 years area aware I sadly lost my wife Karen to Skin Cancer last June so it's been a rough time for me. But with the help of the staff at the Leader and Exite Radio I now once again have something good to focus on as they have been of great help, as also are the Charity group and my close friends the Orihuela Ladybirds.
They are raising money throughout this year in memory of Karen, with regular events, with all the proceeds going to the Felix Mantilla Skin Cancer Foundation which is based in Barcelona.
They have already had a picture and report in the Leader and an interview on Mark's breakfast show. Hopefully there will be more to come throughout the year with regular updates, thanks to everyone again.
So down to business, make a date every Sunday for a blast of pure magic from Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York,etc. Put your dancing shoes on or your flip flops and get ready to party. Turn your radio's up and get everyone to join in, it's what we call having a shindig, a good time.
