FAIRGROUND RIDER SERIOUSLY INJURED

An incident at the fair in Guardamar has resulted in a Norwegian citizen being rushed to Torrevieja hospital tonight, in a serious condition.
The incident occurred at around 10pm on Monday night, during the height of the summer season occupancy, and it is thought that a carriage of the theme park ride became derailed and crashed.
The Guardia Civil, local Police, fire service and emergency medics were quick to the scene, transferring the injured person to hospital for treatment.
