FOR THE BEST IN ENTERTAINMENT, TRY BENNY

Benny Van Den Berg, or just Benny as he likes to be known, is already rocketing into hearts and the minds of audiences across the Costa Blanca, with his unique performance style and powerful, but distinctive voice, covering a range of songs from classic crooners to international pop, and setting himself up to be a star of tomorrow, today.
Incredibly for those who have seen and heard him perform live, this powerhouse of entertainment, fun and talent is just 16 years of age, firmly taking his place amongst the top class young talent that seem to be developing away from the bustling scenes of ego and poor performance that is sometimes apparent in singers of a more established ilk.
Benny tells us that he was born on 12th of July 1995, and he believes that he got his talent, which he modestly says he “doesn´t know what else to call it”, from his father, who was a professional singer in Holland. Tragically, Benny´s father died when he was very young, so he has missed out on seeing the growth of this superstar.
Benny started singing when he was just 10 years old, “where most teenagers choose to listen to pop music, I chose the oldies, ballads, love songs and the likes, but I also sing songs from nowadays like ‘Ai se eu te pego’”, a 2008 Brazilian song written in Portuguese by Sharon Acioly and Antônio Dyggs popularized by Brazilian singer Michel Teló becoming an international hit as both the original and English language version, ‘Oh, If I Catch You!’
Having moved to Spain just 4 years ago, at the age of 12, Benny went to a lot of Karaoke bars, “It was really then that people always came up to me and said I should do something with my singing, and although it´s really just a hobby for me, I do hope that one day I could make a living with my hobby, that would be perfect”.
If you were at the Los Montesinos St Patrick´s Day fiesta, or some of the other events held with Exite Radio, you may have already seen Benny perform, you may have even caught him singing and dancing on the tables, as he says, “every time I sing at a bar I´ll probably jump on top of a table when singing”, just giving that extra vibrancy and colour to his show.
At the moment, you can see Benny singing at several bars, and some private parties, but he would really like to get more places to sing and you are sure that your audiences will love him, as much as those who have seen him in action already.
