SPANISH PROPERTY PRICES ON THE RISE

Spanish property prices are on the rise in the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida areas according to a study of 100,000 properties recently published.
Alicante and Murcia were cited as being two locations where prices have trended upwards in Q1 and Q2 of this year.
Whilst prices are still a long way off their 2007 highs, the rise in prices is a positive sign for investors in the Spanish property market. And both Alicante and Murcia have faired well, partly due to the new infrastructure which is currently being built in those regions. Alicante Airport has seen the opening of a second terminal and a brand new facility is currently being built in Corvera on the outskirts of Murcia in order to service the Costa Calida area. In addition, Paramount have reportedly agreed to build a brand new theme park on land just 20 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches and the City of Murcia.
