Samaritans celebrate 3 years operation in Spain with their 2nd Annual Dinner & Dance on September 14th.

A gala dinner and dance will be hosted by Crystals Restaurant at La Fuente (Commercial Centre), Campoamor to celebrate the very successful first three years of Samaritan operation in Spain.

An exciting evening of gourmet food, dancing and entertainment is planned commencing with a Cava reception, followed by a three-course meal including a half bottle of wine per person. Entertainment will be provided by the fabulous Duet Amertiz, ensuring the evening will be an exciting one, which will have an [optional] masked theme

The Samaritans first opened their doors in July 2008 with a centre in Benissa and in 2009 they opened a second center in the Torrevieja area.

Samaritans provide an emotional-support helpline service each night from 8 p.m. to midnight. The service on 902 88 35 35 (national, not premium call rates apply) is provided to support all English speaking communities throughout Spain.

The charity continues to develop. A drop-in center in Calpe opened in May this year and is open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon every Monday at Laura’s, West Beach, Avenida Gabriel Miro, 35.
