BRIT WOMAN ARRESTED FOR HUSBAND’S MURDER IN MALAGA

The National Police have arrested a 57 year old British woman on suspicion of the death of her husband, The man was found dead having suffered a deep stab wound received at his home, in the municipality of Torremuelle, in Benalmadena.
In a statement issued to the press the police said that they were first alerted by a British neighbour in the early hours of Monday morning at their station in Torremolinos
They quickly moved officers and medical services to the scene but on arrival they could only certify the Briton’s death due to the wound. The home was visited by investigators from the Special Violent Crime Unit who were later joined by Forensic science officers.
Following an inspection of the scene, the officers arrested the wife of the dead man confirming that they were not seeking anyone else.
The woman, MC aged 48, is now being detained in Torremolinos (Malaga). The judicial authority has ordered the removal of the body subsequently issuing a statement saying that they are not aware of the existence of any complaints suggesting that the marriage had a history of domestic violence.
