DEAD BODY OF GERMAN BOY FOUND IN CORDOBA

The dead body of a five year old German boy has been found on land close to a reservoir in Córdoba.
The boy was reported as missing by his mother three days earlier. She travelled to Spain by car and was on holiday with her son near the Punto Nuevo reservoir in Espiel where the body was found at around 11AM on Friday morning.
The two had been seen fishing together on Sunday night and it was Monday morning that the woman phoned the police to say that her car had broken down. On the following day she appeared bruised and dehyrated at a petrol station in Espiel where she was transferred to hospital to recover.
Local police are investigating.
