A Malaga based company is said to be offering incentives to it’s employees of vouchers for a night in a brothel. The General Labour Confederation (CGT) Trade Union make the claim which they say they have now reported to the Labour Inspectorate.
They name the company in a report published by El Mundo newspaper as Yellow Telecom, a telemarketing company which is based on the Malaga Technology Park.
The unusual bonus scheme came to light after the company laid off two workers who it accused of being lesbians. The couple affected brought the matter to the notice of the CGT who describe the dismissals of the pair as an infringement of their fundamental rights.
The company employs mainly women who accumulate points every month based on their catalogue sales performance. For 200 points the incentive offered included the bonus of a night at the alternative Malaga nightclub El S'candalo while for 100 points those who perform not quite so well receive vouchers for their use in a local sex shop.
No one in the company was available for comment.
