When putting together your video it doesn’t have to be overcomplicated or professionally produced. Home videos can work just as well and are often preferred by the audience. The key is to include interesting and authentic content which is informative and entertaining for your audience.

KEEP YOUR VIDEO UNDER THREE MINUTES LONG

When people watch video on Youtube, they tend to have fairly short attention spans, so it’s important to keep your video short and to get to the point quickly. Youtube is open to an audience of millions and it is just as simple to click away from your video as it is to click onto it. If you have a lot to say, consider creating a series of videos which cover your topic in short segments. You have more chance of retaining the interest of your audience this way.

LET YOUR AUDIENCE KNOW WHERE YOUR VIDEOS ARE!

The key to earning money from your videos is to ensure that your audience know where they are! Create links on your homepage, on your newsletters, on related forums and blog sites so that people who may be interested in your information.
