NEW MALAGA ROUTES FOR RYANAIR

Last Tuesday, June 22, the low-cost airline Ryanair began operating a new route linking Malaga to Valencia with a frequency of five flights a week adding a further added 80,000 annual passengers to the numbers using Malaga airport. The route will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays , Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The same week also saw the opening of a new route linking the capital of the Costa del Sol with the Finnish city of Tampere, where the flight will be launched the 25th.
These developments coincided with the opening of the first base of operations for the airline in Málaga in addition to the four already in the country. This infrastructure will now take 19 new routes, which will involve 360 weekly flights to and from the airport.
The president of the airline Ryanair, Michael O'Leary, said the new base, at which four aircraft are permanently based will create more than 200 direct jobs and investment will exceed 250 million euros.
The 19 new routes to and from Malaga which began on 23 , 24 and 25 June to Aarhus (Denmark), Berlin (Germany) , Bratislava (Slovakia), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Gothenburg (Sweden), Krakow (Poland), Maastricht (Netherlands), Memmingen (Germany), Oslo (Norway), Paris (France), Pisa (Italy) , Stockholm (Sweden), Tampere (Finland Venice- Treviso (Italy) , Wroclaw (Poland).
Internally there are new flights to Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Valladolid and Zaragoza making a total of 39 Ryanair routes from Malaga.
