WORK ON CORVERA AIRPORT TO RESUME

The autonomous community of Murcia couldn’t have received a better gift on its 28th birthday. The president of the regional government, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, confirmed at the end of the act to celebrate the Day of Murcia last Wednesday that the EU has given the official thumbs up to the guarantor for the finance of the new Murcian airport in Corvera.
This will mean that work will finally be able to continue on the airport and hopefully be completed in just over a year’s time. It appears that the necessary loan will be for some 200 million euros.
