Saturday 31st found us hosting a Provincial Team for a Rinks Match, 3 rinks ladies and 3 rinks gents, on a bright glorious if very breezy day. The match was played in good spirit and cheer with some excellent bowls being played in very testing conditions, which proved a challenge to most. Both teams took 3 rinks, whilst our guests took the shots 106-80, an excellent all round result for El Rancho against a team of proven bowling talent, well done all.

The restaurant then providing lunch to enable our continued social gathering, a pleasant afternoon in excellent company.

On Tuesday 2nd we played away at against The Hawks in the Federation League, The Hawks took all 3 rinks not a great result for El Rancho, but good experience.

Friday 5th saw us away to Greenlands Orange for a Southern League match; it was a lovely warm afternoon with a light breeze, splendid conditions for some good bowling. El Rancho took the rinks 4-2 and the shots 126-89, hence! 0 points to El Rancho and 4 to Greenlands Orange. El Rancho also took the friendly rink 20-9, well done all!
