THE 2ND VALENCIAN LAWN BOWLS CHAMPIONSHIPS

15^th May 2010 – 29^th May 2010......The venues have now been chosen for the 2^nd Valencian Championships and will take place at the following Bowls Clubs. GREENLANDS, El RANCHO, SAN MIGUEL and EMERALD ISLE. The Opening Ceremony will be at San Miguel while the Emerald Isle will have the Closing Ceremony and also the Finals of all Disciplines.

With the competition being a resounding success last year the Tournament Committee is very much the same and hoping they once again will have success with many bowlers on the Costa Blanca supporting the event. This year the Chairman will be Barry Latham; Secretary, Liz Mills; Treasurer, Brian Allen; Competition Secretary, Dominic Mills; Jan Allen; John Featherstone; Mel O’Dell; Maggie Furness; Bob Donnelly and Steve Westall.

Once again The Leader is our main sponsor and is producing the programme which we thank them for in advance. 

The Event being such an outstanding Valencian success last year we are hoping that a few more local companies on the Costa Blanca might feel inclined to sponsor us or give the Federation a generous donation and be part of that success. No matter how big or small you are, we would welcome you.
