GIFTS FOR TORREVIEJA HOSPITAL

The staff of Torrevieja Hospital have issued a statement thanking the many groups and organisations that have contributed gifts to the dozens of children currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
Although there are many companies that have provided gifts the hospital picked out the CAM bank and La Siesta Golf Society of Campoamor. All the gifts will now be distributed within the pediatric wards.
A spokesman said that with such initiatives as well as activities also being arranged in the assembly hall many children were walking around with big smiles on their faces that would otherwise not be there.
The hospital PR department said that such private initiatives are extremely important to maintain and improve the morale of the children, many of who are going through a very difficult time.
