Elite Golf Society La Finca 21stNov 09

Great morning for golf we played a stableford of the white tees, a challenge for most amateur golfers at La Finca. Winner was Jeff Ellis with a very credible score of 36 points second was Stuart Tosh with 35 points and third was Brian Harrison with 34 points. Nearest the par 3 pins were Jeff Ellis on hole 3 and 6 John Stabler on hole 13 and Nigel Hubert on hole 16 ,there were only 2 twos today John Stabler and Jeff Ellis on hole No3, fortunately hole 13 was drawn out so we have a rollover. Dish of the day was John (Sam) Sneyd.

Another perfect morning for golf playing a stableford of the yellow plates Winner today was Dave Gregory with a very good score of 40 points, second was Gavin Riddall with 38 points and third was Gavin Parke with 37 points. Front nine points was won by Rob Neil and the back nine points was won by Alex Duchart. Nearest the par 3 pins were Lorrie Rochester on 3 Gavin Riddall on 6 and 16 and Rob Neil on hole 13. There were 2 twos both on hole 6 Dave Gregory and Gavin Riddall. Hole no 6 was drawn out so both share the pot. Dish of the day was Dave Blinston Two ties were played in our Elite singles competition Adrian Hubert beating John Stabler at the first extra hole in a quarter final tie and Gavin Parke beating Ernie Lucas 2 and 1 in a semi final tie.
