PRESENTATION TO THE SEA AND SALT MUSEUM FROM THE ROYAL NAVAL ASSOCIATION

The connection between the Royal Navel Association and Torrevieja was further cemented last week when a delegation from the RNA, accompanied by Graham Knight, Director of Torrevieja’s (ORAI) Office for the Attention of International Residents, presented the museum with a plaque, a photograph and a personalized marine knots display to Torrevieja’s Sea and Salt Museum.
Receiving the presentation was Torrevieja’s Councillor for Foreigners and Technology, Pedro Valero Mazón, the manager responsible for all floating museums of the town, Rafael Aracil Sala and the Sea and Salt Museum manager, María Dolores Sánchez Roca.
The Museum shall be moving to new premises when the new complex is completed on the seafront at Eras de la Sal. The museum houses many different artefacts, ship models and dioramas depicting the close history that the city has with the sea. It’s located at number 10 Calle Patricio Perez just around the corner from the Municipal theatre.
Opening hours are from Monday to Friday, mornings from 09.30 to 14.30 hrs and evenings from 17.00 to 21.00 hrs Saturdays from 10.00 to 13.00 hrs and 17.00 to 21.00 hrs. Sundays from 10.00 to 13.00 hrs. Closed Monday afternoon.
