According to Local Police sources, the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection It ran into a car traveling across the same intersection and spun off into the path of the unfortunate pedestrian who was immediately trapped by the car against a the side of a building. The force caused his left leg to be completely severed and the side of the building to be demolished.
The Leader understands that police officers have obtained a great deal of information about the cause of the accident. Some sources said the driver is currently negotiating his surrender to the Local Police as he knows that it will only be a matter of time before he is arrested, although this could not be confirmed.
One unfortunate additional aspect of the tragedy was the bus load of young children which passed the accident as the pedestrian was trapped against the wall, many of whom are said to be suffering mental trauma as a result.
