Further to your article in last week’s paper.
We are pensioners of 72 + 82 and have been living here very happily for the past 3+ years on state pensions with al small private top up
1. The weather and the area are much healthier than in UK
2. The medical attention is brilliant

3.Where in UK could you eat a meal similar to the ones served in Portico Mar for example for the money – in UK we were lucky to eat out once a month unless it was a pensioners 2 course job AND that did NOT include any drinks!
4. Yes the euro rate has affected us but you cut your cloth accordingly and still manage to enjoy life
5. We bowl outdoors 12 months of the year – could not do that in UK!!
6. The Council Tax would crucify us in UK and I would still be working as I was before we left
