Judge Jose Flors of the Valencian Supreme Court has thrown out both the cases presented before him by the Valencian Socialists against Francisco Camps, Ricardo Costa, Victor Campos and Rafael Bertoret in the Gürtel case.
The Socialists presented an appeal before Mr Justice Flors and this was also rejected last week, with the judge telling the Socialists that they should pay the costs of bringing their action and that they had acted in bad faith, and was considering what compensation should be paid.
The finding represents a severe upset for the Socialists who had hoped to gain some political ground in the Valencian Community by presenting such a case.
