Now that this course has got its pricing right it should be well attended. We came for the first time this year with 40 players and they were not disappointed.

The fairways were in excellent condition, the greens were a dream to put on amd of course the weather was fantastic. We had some good scores with the Oldbury kid Alan Rickers returning 38 points to take the Silver category, followed closely by John Simpson with 37 points. In third place was Sat Nav Boyne who sand bagged with 36 points. The Captains prize for fourth was taken by Lorraine Pearson with 34 points.

38 points also won the Gold category being scored by Scott Malden who is a member at Alenda  In Second place was hotelier Mike Freeman , Baray Roehrig was third, and Kenny Hunter took the Captains prize for fourth place. All three had 37 points so it was decided on count back. Before Kenny left home his wife said to him not to come back unless he brought a bottle so not to be out done he brought 2 home. (I know you are reading this!)

Next week it will be Alicante golf with an early start, 09.00am. The Captain has decided to do the Eclectic at the next three games here.
