Everyone is getting ready for the next This is Spain Exhibitions event which takes place at La Herradura restaurant, Los Montesinos on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd May 2009. There are only a couple of stands available now, so you will need to be quick if you want to take advantage of the best way of showing off your products and services to the ex-pat market. This show will have even more variety and interesting new products than any previous show!
The venue, the beautiful, original, nineteenth century Spanish farmhouse which is now the La Herradura restaurant in Los Montesinos, is getting ready for the thousands of visitors expected at the show. Don’t forget their fantastic show offer of lunch for only €5 which consists of a traditional Spanish paella, salad and a drink, served on the delightful patio next to the exhibition area.
There will be so much to see and do at this show; you may have to come back for a second visit! And with the entry fee a very low €1 which includes a raffle ticket…why not? There will be new and innovative products to look at such as a solar powered oven and a cooling spray for those hot summer days which are just around the corner. You can try your hand at some different crafts or have your health checked with free blood pressure testing and allergy testing. There will be ample opportunities to tickle your taste buds with a selection of British cheeses, Scandinavian bread and cakes and Iberian ham, cheese and olives – a multi-cultural taste fest! Plus, there will be wines and beers to try too. Children can have a go on the bouncy castle, have their face painted or even have their hair decorated.
Local charities and associations are well represented at the show; this year Age Concern and the Stroke Support Group are added to the list which already includes churches, charities and groups like the Torry Army and Los Nomades Rugby Club. Don’t forget that Sol productions are looking for more top talented people here on the Costas and will be filming ‘Sofa Factor’ at the show and there will be fashion shows, interesting talks and all day music throughout the three day event.
The raffle is always a highlight of the show and this year is no exception with some excellent prizes including flights with a well known airline, a solar oven, a relaxing massage chair, digital camera, DVD player, case of wine and a €500 voucher towards building or kitchen work plus lots, lots more. You could be a lucky winner!
Organiser, Christine Roche, has pulled out all the stops for this show with advertising through a variety of different media such as local newspapers and magazines and slots on radio and television aimed not just at the British ex-pat market but also the Dutch, German and Scandinavian markets too. 100.000 leaflets are being distributed across a wide area in the run up to the show and three large, strategically placed billboards are advertising the exhibition. If you are a business and you don’t have your stand yet, get in touch with Christine now!
