AIMING ‘PIE HIGH’

0

Well it’s “Pie High” for Da Silva’s in Quesada!  When Abi Johnson approached George and Pedro owners of Da Silva restaurant in Quesada for help with an unusual prize – for the Quesada “Bakeaway” Cake Competition to make a Traditional Victoria Sandwich – George had no hesitation in offering the prize of a voucher for a lesson into how to make a really good Steak Pie!

As well as fab food on a regular daily basis Da Silva’s have just introduced a REAL SPECIAL – Steak Pie and a glass of wine at lunchtime for a FIVER and although the exchange rate more than flutters for tourists this is €5 not £5 and £5 is kind of the going rate for just a glass of wine in the UK!!

George and Pedro are no newcomers to supporting charity and they have already done their fair share for Elche Children’s Care Home and on Friday April 21st there is a “Look as Good as You Can”  talk by Angela Swaga – one of the winners of the GM Business Woman of the Year Awards 2016 in Calpe – this will be followed by a light lunch and then on Friday 19th May Da Silva’s have a 3 course Ladies Lunch and Fabulous “Step into Summer” Fashion Show for just €12.95.

The Victoria Sandwich Cake Competition is part of The Spring Fair at MJ’s in Quesada – and George has also said the winner will be able to sample her or even his pie accompanied with a glass of wine or two!  How nice is it to see restaurants helping charity and supporting each other whilst doing it!

Could this be the Quesada Way forward?  For more information and to book tickets for ANGELA SWAGA on Friday 21st April at Da Silva’s or The “Step into Summer” Fashion Show and Lunch also at Da Silva’s please email sueinthesun@hotmail.co.uk or just pop in to Da Sliva’s – you will be sure of a very warm welcome.
