Mayor Ignacio Ramos, seems reluctant to share information with the other 3 parties that make up the majority of the Horadada town council.

The municipal group of the Unión Pilareña (UP) has accused the Pilar government of a lack of transparency regarding the project to refurbish and modernise the medical centre in Campoverde.

They say that despite the PSOE, led by current mayor Ignacio Ramos, governing as a minority, they seem reluctant to share information with the other 3 parties that make up the majority of the Horadada town council.

The UP spokesman Angel Albaladejo said that Ramos seems not to realise that the opposition needs to study the municipal plans in depth so that we can give our support to the project and ensure that the necessary work is what the people need and is completed within a reasonable time frame.

He said that it has been almost three months since his party first requested in writing a copy of the plans for the remodelling of the medical centre as well as the recommendations of the municipal technicians who will be approving the contract.

Although the PSOE currently hold 10 seats of the 21 seat council in Pilar de la Horadada they could be defeated at any time with a coalition of the PP (7 seats), UP (3 seats) and VPP (1 seat). As such, the PSOE minority government will need to have the support of either the PP or the UP as it seeks to adopt any legislation in the town.
