HORIZONTE PETANCA SAD LOSS

Have just heard that Kaj Bjarve has lost his fight against cancer, having overcome this earlier, when he returned to Sweden in May, tests showed that it was back with a vengance, sadly Kaj died last Wednesday.

He was a competent administrator , as well a leading light at his club, both as a player and organiser , Club President Monica Bredenberg was full of praise for the big man, he fought until the end, and Petanca have lost a top man.

A memorial meeting will be held in the Autumn when everyone is back.

The next meeting is on August 17th, with entries invited from all players, the start time is 5.30 pm.
