WEEK 2 DIVISION ONE
Los Balcones, earned a 4-3 away win at Castillo Two, to stay in third place. Blue Lagoon, earned a 4-3 win at home to XPS, this moved them away from the bottom places. Buccaneers beat Lakeside by 5-2, with no change in league positions. The Leaders Castillo one, were too strong for Corsairs winning by 6-1, and already looking the team to beat.

DIVISION TWO
The Dominos Red, pulled off a creditable victory over neighbours Rocajuna, winning by 4-3, this was the first defeat for Rocajuna in two years. The Mutineers also won by 4-3 with Castillo 4, the opposition. Dominos White won away to Danish Dynamite by 5-2, moving up to second place. The final match was Lakeside at home to San Miguel, this was a 6-1 victory for the home side, who have a 3 point lead.

DIVISION THREE
Buddies Bar, had a closely fought match at home to Danish Vikings, winning by 4-3. El Presidente, were in good form winning at home to Castillo 4 by 6-1.This was the same score at San Luis with Amigos Belgas, at home to Dolores Peacocks . Amigos stay on top. With Torre Bears, closing in with a 7-0 win over Freebooters, Torre are 1 point behind the Belgium team, with El Presidente stay in contention just two points behind the leaders.

DIVISION FOUR
With the Mayor of Torrevieja Eduardo Dolon opening the new pitches at Club Laguna Vista, it was a close match with the Peacocks, Laguna winning by 4-3, this puts them into first place. With Florentilles beating Lakeside by 4-3,this brings both teams level in a well matched division. Hideaway earned a 4-3 win at El Rancho, with the Danish Friends just missing out on a win.

BUD MEPHAM TROPHY
This Men’s Pairs attracted a good entry for the Bud Mepham Trophy, which was held at Torre Del Moro, in ideal playing conditions. With many top players in action it was Olle Josefsson and Jan-Erik Jarlestam, from Horizonte who were the winners, they played well throughout the day, to take the Gold Medal and cash prize . Runners up were leading French players Andre and Miguel Lopez, from Rocajuna, they received the Silver medals and cash prize. Third place went to Nisse Fransson

THE REAL ESTATE AGENCY OPEN
For the third year running this mixed Triples attracted a large entry to San Luis , with the Real Estate Agency the Sponsor. With all teams playing 5 games, just one team achieved this with Birgitta Jarlestam, Janne Eriksson ,and Lennart Gustafsson from Horizonte taking the Gold Medals and cash prizes. , they had teamed up well. Runners up were Matti Nieminen,Kristina and Per Froberg from club Nordico La Marina ,they took the Silver Medals and cash prizes. Third place went to Pepino, Jacques Paolacci, of Rocajuna, and Nancy MacGrandles of Montesinos, they won the Bronze medals and cash prizes. Fourth place went to Lizzi Haide, Hakan Strand, and Erik Petersson from Torreta 3.
