Remembrance for Rob

The following was sent to David Greene at the Charlton Athletic European Soccer School following their fundraising day in memory of Robert Smith, who sadly died on an adult coaching trip earlier this year.

Dear David,

Thank you for organising this most successful special day in  remembrance of Rob. I am sure everyone enjoyed this.
I sincerely appreciate the money gift, your kind thoughts, the efforts and hard work devoted to this day to raise this. I shall always remember this day and your kindness.

I particularly wish to thank you for your kind help when Rob collapsed. I appreciate the shock this must have given you at the time and your colleagues. Despite this you were so kind to ensure that I was given assistance and help and I take this opportunity of thanking you for your kindness.

I am so pleased to learn that this event may take place as a memorial in future years with the proceeds devoted to charity.
My sincere thanks and best wishes to you and all your staff.
