Who needs personal shoppers or internet ordering when the friendly staff at the Designer Warehouse in Quesada can advise and assist everyone with their fantastic range of designer clothes direct from the UK. Stocking everything from top designers such as DKNY, Armani and Ralph Lauren to high street fashion from Miss Sixty, FCUK and Abercrombie, a girl's (and a guy's) passion for retail therapy can be found under one roof.

Husband and wife Linda and Matthew Greet opened the Designer Warehouse just over a year ago and have seen trends come and go as the demand for UK fashion grows on the Costa. Linda works in the Quesada store alongside employee Niki Rossall as Matthew regularly makes the commute back to the UK to check on their other stores in Britain. Having worked in retail for 18 years, owning two designer shops in out of town retail parks, the couple knew the formula would work, but Linda says it was not originally what they had in mind when they moved here two years ago, "We came out here looking for something different to do but this is all we know really and after searching for the ideal premises it has all been quite straightforward." So straightforward in fact that they are about to celebrate the opening of their second store in Spain on 8 July  down in Mojacar where Linda's sister lives who will be running it for them.

As they work on that store Linda says she is happy with the success of Quesada. They have already expanded the premises, introduced a new line of clothing for the larger female going up to a size 46 to meet customer demand, and they are hoping to have more footwear in stock in the future. Whilst Linda believes some savings can be made on UK prices, there are various promotions currently in store from sale prices to 'buy one get one free' on items.

Niki says new stock comes in around every fortnight but they also try to help out with customer's queries and will endeavour to try and order in certain items for people they may have seen in catalogues or on websites.

Linda and Matthew would also like to thank their loyal customers for their support during this first year.
