As stated last week, we have continued to investigate this issue. We print replies received from Sky and Tarbena television. We have had verbal confirmation from ITV that their programmes are not licenced to be broadcast here in Spain and are waiting for a full reply from the BBC. The facts are this: -
It is illegal to broadcast or watch television programmes from the UK. However, if you can't get by without your weekly dose of Corrie or Eastenders you have two choices. Get a satellite dish (large) and a card for your digibox using a UK address. The problem with this is that if Sky finds out you don't live in the UK, your card will be cancelled. (see Sky letter). Or get a mesh system. The problem with that is that it will cost you the installation fee or change over fee plus the monthly charge. The choice is yours.
