Bless 'em all

A group of patriotic Brits gathered together on Sunday afternoon with Union Jacks flying high to sing along to old war songs with Major (accident) Terry Fryer, Sgt Billy (Karaoke) Dee and Corp Malcolm Hare at Fountains Irish Pub, San Luis.
Everyone joined in the sixtieth anniversary of the V.E.day 'sing-a-long' with old favourites such as, 'Pack up your troubles', 'All the nice girls love a sailor', 'Lilli Marlene', 'Bless 'em all', 'We'll meet again' and the 'White cliffs of Dover', to name but a few.
Some had enjoyed a full Sunday Roast lunch and some chose 'bangers and mash' as they would have perhaps been more likely to have eaten some sixty years ago back in 1945. The event was only organized last Friday by Terry, but with the help and co-operation of Marcella, Derek, Carly and Thomas, the owners of Fountains Irish Pub it was a huge success and everyone sitting outside in the afternoon sunshine seemed to have had a great time.
In addition to this some monies were raised for the A.E.C.C. and the donation will be made soon.
