ORIHUELA COSTA ART EXHIBITION

On Tuesday Ana Mas de Felix (Orihuela Councillor for Culture) and Emilio Zaplano Polo (Orihuela Councillor for Social Welfare, Equality, Immigration & Citizen Participation) introduced the exhibition by the artist Felipe Fernandez de Irazu, a collection of paintings, using watercolour and gouche and featuring scenes in Orihuela Costa.
The exhibition in The Alameda Del Mar Civic Centre will be open to the public until 15th June. This is the second art exhibition organised by the Consejalía de Cultura to be held at the Civic Centre.
Ana Mas reminded residents of the Art and Craft Fair being organised by the Orihuela Consejalía that will take place on the Paseo Maritimo in Playa Flamenca on Sunday June 3rd from 10.00 am to 2.00pm.
The Merca-De-Arte is being organised to promote and enhance cultural activities, to publicise the works of local artists, to promote the sale of art, to create an outdoor exhibition and to move culture on to the streets.
You can register as an artist, a group, an associations or an individual if you wish to exhibit, buy, sell or exchange pictures, sculptures, coins, stamps, books, photographs, vinyl records, crafts, antiques, etc.
The Town Hall will provide an area to sell and exhibit and will install the necessary tables and chairs. Each exhibitor will have two metres of exhibition space. The cost of this activity, including permits, the setting up of and the taking down of the exhibition will be taken care of by the Town
