JÁVEA BRIDGE CLUB

Jávea Bridge Club organises Duplicate Pairs Tournaments at 3.00 pm every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. A host system is in operation on Wednesdays. Visitors are always welcome and all players are asked to arrive 15 minutes before play is scheduled to commence.

Christmas at the Club was celebrated both with a dinner at El Elephante Restaurante and with an Individual Tournament, earlier in the week. In an Individual Event, players have several partners in succession, presenting a rather different challenge to the more normal Pairs Events. Linda Roberson excelled at this, not often played format, winning by a good margin. Brenda Wood was second and Steve Abley third.
