COOKING THE SPANISH WAY

You may have caught Mark Nolan talking about Spanish cooking on Exite radio this week. Local Spanish cookery teacher, Begoña Josa, joined Mark on Thursday and told him about the basics of cooking Spanish food at home.
Dealing with the famous paella, and tortilla, Begoña gave her top tips for how to make the most of local ingredients, whilst also fitting in better with the country that has adopted us.
Begoña then went on to explain how she teaches small groups how to cook the meals, which they all then enjoy, complete with a glass of wine, in what has become a hugely successful social networking phenomenon where strangers become friends and knowledge becomes what is shared as everyone puts their own little bit of spice into the menu mix.
In addition to the classes, Begoña also caters for private parties, but not in a traditional way that we may think. She is happy to attend your home, provide all the ingredients and then show your friends or family exactly what to do, in a manner not unlike watching a scene from a television show.
So, if you fancy a taste of Spain, either by attending a class, or inviting Begoña to cater for you, then give her a call for more information on 690 649 538, just remember to save us a place at your table.
