Sporting Alfas Cricket Club Sporting Alfas 1st X1 138 for 10 lost to Fineden Dolben 139 for 4

Finedon Dolben CC came to Albir with out many first team players and left with an easy win, Batting first SACC never got going and lost wickets at a regular rate. Never looking like reaching a par score of 190, only Fletcher offering any resistance with 56 well struck runs. 

Alfas youngster Tyler Brown helped the visiting team taking 3 for 24 from 8 overs, including his elder brother Antonio. Extras being the second highest scorer. 138 all out.

FDCC sent in SACC stand in McKinstry and he helped see off Howden and Pennick for 6 overs before becoming the first FDCC wicket caught by Marriner of Howdens bowling. Cooper, also helping out the visitors, gave up his wicket when opener Hawkes ended up at the same end. Hawkes (16)fell to Peter Fell in his first over.

Ex county player Minney and Roberts finished of the SACC score with 47 and 33 well taken run's. Another great day at the Woodbridge oval enjoyed by many traveling visitors and the usual Albir regulars, thanks to all and we will enjoy next weekend with a game every day Friday to Monday. April is fully booked with 15 home games organised.
