ADHOC SHOW SELLS OUT AGAIN!

The Adhoc theatre company have done it again. Their “Rock n Roll With Adhoc” show had sold out a week before the show on June 19th. 250 people flocked to Los Rosales in Guardamar to rock n roll, despite the England v Ukraine Euro 2012 match being on that evening.
The theatre company has gone from strength to strength since forming in 2010 for supposedly one production of “Allo, Allo The VIP”. Since then they have had much praise and acclaim from audiences at all their plays and shows.
The show was held to raise funds for Adhocs next production of the full length “Allo, Allo” which will be performed in November. There is already a waiting for tickets. As usual, Adhoc will be bringing in new actors to the stage as well as previous cast members, making for a fresh look to every play.
Rock n Roll with Adhoc kicked off with Andy Jones, who entertained at Adhocs last Rock With show. He got the ball rolling to a very enthusiastic audience, who were out to have a good time, both in and outside the restaurant. Then it was the turn of Jimmy Mac and Trace Graham to perform their Lennon and McCartney tribute. Both were fully kitted out in Beatles clothing and even with the heat, wore their Beatles wig to give an authentic look and sound to the set.
Also on the bill were “Woody and The Peckers”, who turned the clock back with their Buddy Holly tribute. A popular era, as when Woody asked if anyone knew what was the song after “Peggy Sue”, the whole audience knew she got married.
At half time the raffle was held, and there were plenty of prizes to be had. There was also a surprise in store for the founder of Adhoc, Billie, when he was pulled up on stage and presented with a card and verse and then everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to him. He is quoted as saying “This is the first time I have been short of words!”
After the break, and with England 1-0, the hugely popular “Cadillacs” got the party swinging even more. The whole event was filmed by VIVA TV, and news of the upcoming DVD will be released soon.
Adhoc would like to thank Andy Jones, The Cadillacs, Woody and The Peckers and Lennon and McCartney for giving their talents to the show for free. But mainly they want to send out a huge thank you to every one of the 250 people who attended and helped them raise over €1500.
