Harrow School returned to the Woodbridge Oval on their yearly visit and invited SACC to set a total. Ali, who joined Howe in this weeks opening partnership, for the 2nd time this week got a quick fire 100 before retiring.
Howe was also going along at a fair pace when Daily got one to move away, nicking the edge and held by keeper Baker. Crompton also looked solid and reaching 63 before skying one off Mayer. Pennick (29) batting well, going along nicely with Fletcher (46) before mistiming a drive and was again well caught by Baker.
With the overs ticking by and near 300 on the board the home side decided that with the run out of Taylor the innings should end. 295 - 5.
Spin as always plays a big part in the SACC attack, Fell (3-43) and Crompton (3 - 33) ripping out the top order Harrow batsmen.
Ali stumping 3 and with catches held by the outfielders, Metcalf also took a pair his 5 overs costing 41.
Harrow never looked in control and SACC finally took the last wicket with 235 the total, one Harrow player will be a name to watch D, Silva, who looks a good prospect, opening and playing with a very straight bat.
Next week SACC will entertain Villajoyasa Rugby club in what should be a very enjoyable day.
