BEACHFRONT HAS MORE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS

San Javier Mayoress Pepa Garcia opened four new pedestrian entrances to the beach promenade in Santiago de la Ribera last week in the pouring rain.
Street lighting along the whole prom has also been improved on, however, will not be completely finished until the summer. The sea wall which has been promised, has been postponed until after August, as they are still awaiting approval from "Costas."
Other projects which are being carried out are the cycle paths to join the town with San Pedro and Los Alcazares, an eco boat for the Mar Menor and more beach cleaning machines.
