LO ROMERO LADIESFALL TO JUNIORS

Friday the 23rd July saw the first annual Ladies vs. Escuela Tournament at Lo Romero Golf. The tournament was played over 9 holes in a Matchplay format with 10 matches taking place in total.
The evening presented perfect weather conditions and all the ladies and children enjoyed the event, with both English and Spanish children from the municipal golf school taking part.
A small presentation and a few words from Raul Victoria, director of the municipal golf school followed the matches.
3 points were awarded to the winner of each match and 1 point if the match was halved. The kids prevailed, 25 points – 4 points and were presented with the trophy.
Both the ladies and kids are eagerly awaiting the rematch to take place next year.
